Alas with The Playoffs and Arizona Fall League close at hand, it’s time to get back in the baseball swing. More or less, I have moved most of my blogging efforts to my new site, but will be continue to create and post videos here.

There are two games left in the season and the Phillies are in first place (for the very moment) as they are losing to the Washington Nationals. No doubt, it will come down to the last game of the season. Thousands of miles away from Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia expatriates come to places like Corelone’s, a cheesteak and hoagie place owned by Philadelphia natives. It’s a bit before game time but Phillies fans have come here for a taste of home cooking in the hopes the Fightin’ Phils don’t choke.

It seems like a distant memory, but last week between appointments we drove by the Allianz Arena, home to Bayern Munich, a top team in the Germany football (soccer) league. We ventured off the autobahn to visit the fan shop which was on par with any US fan shop for major league baseball.

Allianz Arena is also the spot of the finals of the most recent World Cup.
